Waste Management
Waste Management refers to complete lifecycle of waste material produced by human activity. This includes collection, transport, processing, recycling or disposal of waste materials.
It primarily consists of following subsectors:
1 Waste Water Management Waste Water Management is the removal of impurities from water considered waste. Waste water is by-product from household, sewage, industry and other sources.
2 Solid Waste Management Waste management of solid waste which includes garbage and other discarded materials including solid, liquid, semi-solid, or contained gaseous material, resulting from industrial, commercial, mining and agricultural operations, and from community activities.
3 E- Waste Management Waste Management of consumer or business electrical and electronic products.
4 Waste to Energy Waste to Energy is usage of waste to produce energy that is used for power generation.
5 Hazardous waste management Hazardous waste management is an area of the waste management field concerned with the proper containment, management, and disposal of wastes which could be considered hazardous example medical waste.
